An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a health care professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. IBCLCs are certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, Inc. under the direction of the United States Commission of Certifying Agencies.
IBCLCs offer a range of breastfeeding counseling services that may include breastfeeding classes, hospital, office and home consultations, and electric breast pump rentals and sales. Please call for further information.
